I sold $5M+ in bookkeeping services.

Twelve years of selling, scoping, and delivering bookkeeping work to small business owners. I learned where the leads come from, what closes them, and what wastes everyone's time. BBF is what I wish existed when I was starting out.

a letter

Why I built this.

I have spent years helping accounting firms grow by focusing on something most people in the industry overlook:

Trust.

Before starting Booked By Friday, I sold over $5 million in bookkeeping, accounting, and CFO services. I wasn't the most technical person in the room, and I'll tell you that openly. What made me successful was understanding how to communicate with business owners in a way that actually made sense to them.

Most business owners are not accountants. They do not care about technical jargon or credentials on a website. They want someone who understands their problems, explains things clearly, and makes them feel confident they are making the right decision.

That's what I became very good at.

Over time, I realized that most accounting firms do not struggle because they are bad at accounting. They struggle because they do not have a consistent way to get conversations with the right people.

So I built one.

Booked By Friday was created to help bookkeepers, accountants, and tax professionals generate more opportunities without relying entirely on referrals, cold outreach, or expensive agencies that overpromise and underdeliver.

Everything inside the company has been built around real-world experience. The messaging, the follow-up systems, the lead process, the sales strategy... all of it comes from actually being in the trenches selling accounting services for years.

I am still heavily involved in the business and work closely with firms every day. Clients regularly reach out directly for help with follow-up, sales conversations, pricing, and how to position their services more effectively.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple:

Help good accounting firms grow.

Not through gimmicks or inflated promises... but by creating real opportunities with real business owners who are actively looking for help.
